USE OF THE ZONDERVAN NIV BIBLE COMMENTARY (NIVBC) IN SALEABLE
PRODUCTS

Use of The Zondervan NIV Bible Commentary in saleable
products is governed by the fair use doctrine of the Copyright
Law.  Any use extending beyond fair use requires permission from
the publisher.  We recommend obtaining permission for any quotes
exceeding 500 words in saleable products

USE OF NIVBC IN NON-SALEABLE MATERIALS

When quotations from the NIVBC are used in non-saleable media such
as class materials, a complete copyright notice is not required, but the 
words The Zondervan NIV Bible Commentary must appear at the end 
of each quotation.

COMPUTER USE OF THE ELECTRONIC TEXT

You may print or copy portions of the NIVBC to a file or word
processing program as long as the use of the material extracted
is less than 50% of the total work in which the NIVBC is being
used. You may distribute printouts at no charge to Sunday School
classes, Bible Study groups, or other small study groups
providing the quote material does not amount to more than several
